Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Animal Facility (Version 3.2) B24: Defective decontamination equipment

What does B24 require?

This condition applies only where dealings there use GM micro-organisms. Decontamination equipment found to be faulty and not yet repaired must be clearly marked as defective and kept out of use for decontaminating GMOs, waste or equipment from GMO dealings until it is fixed. The faulty equipment itself must be decontaminated before maintenance or repair.
