Where the Determination applies (Agency-managed and registered-plan-managed funding), an NDIS provider must not charge more than the maximum amount for a support: the amount specified for that support item in the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27 (or the SDA Pricing Schedule), or the amount worked out by the method it specifies, as in force from time to time (Determination s 5, from 24 September 2026). The Agency must not pay more than the maximum, may refuse or pay only the maximum on a claim that exceeds it, and any excess paid is a debt due to the Agency (s 45C(3), (5), (6); s 182). Each provider agrees its own price with the participant up to that maximum and should not suggest the NDIA sets its prices.
