Several workers or therapists may be billed at once only where all directly deliver the support (for example shadow shifts for participants with complex needs, capped at a set number of weekday hours a year, supervision of therapy assistants, and case conferences). Activity based transport for community participation and specified capacity building items is claimed at the agreed support rate for worker time plus agreed non-labour costs on the transport item, apportioned between passengers. Irregular SIL supports are claimed only for unplanned events outside the regular SIL roster with the participant's agreement. Intensive and complex behaviour support items need Module 2A registration. Supports must be reasonable and necessary, not health or recreation costs funded elsewhere.
