Australia National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (2019) p6-6.1: 6.1 Accessible, child-focused complaint handling policy

The organisation has a complaint handling policy children can use, stating the roles of leaders, staff and volunteers, how different kinds of complaints and breaches of policy or the Code of Conduct are handled, and the duties to act and report. Principle 6 draws on CRC article 42 (knowing one's rights). Indicator: the policy puts children's safety first and recognises the role of families and communities.
