Australia National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 s73B-2: s 73B(1), (2) Be registered for every support class the rules reserve to registered providers

Where the NDIS rules require a specified class of supports under participants' plans to be delivered only by providers registered for that class, a person must not deliver that support under a plan unless so registered. Supports funded under an Agency-managed plan may only be delivered by a registered provider. Breach is a fault-based offence (2 years' imprisonment or 120 penalty units), a strict liability offence (60 penalty units) and a civil penalty (10,000 penalty units for a serious contravention by an NDIS provider, otherwise 250).
