Chapter 2: Licensing and general obligations of licensees – Australia National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth)

Australia National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) s50A-50B: ss 50A and 50B Report reportable situations to ASIC within 30 days

A licensee must lodge a report in the approved form with ASIC within 30 days after it first knows of, or is reckless about, reasonable grounds to believe a reportable situation has arisen: a significant breach or likely significant breach of a core obligation, an investigation into one lasting more than 30 days (and its outcome), gross negligence, serious fraud, or another prescribed situation. An APRA-regulated licensee may satisfy this through a report to APRA with the same content.
