Australia National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) s47-1j-48: ss 47(1)(j) and 48 Have adequate compensation arrangements

A licensee must have arrangements for compensating persons for loss or damage caused by a contravention of the Act by the licensee or its representatives. The arrangements are adequate only if they meet the requirements the regulations prescribe (in practice, professional indemnity insurance suited to the business) or ASIC has approved them in writing.
