Australia National Construction Code 2025 Volume Three (Plumbing Code of Australia) QLD: Queensland: water closet efficiency for new dwellings, pipe pressure rating, and heated water clauses

Queensland replaces B1D2(2): in a new Class 1 or 2 building in an area served by a Network Utility Operator's supply, water closets must have a dual flush, at least 4 Star WELS and no more than 4.5 litres for a full flush, and suit the bowl; other installations keep 3 Star and 6 or 4.5 litres. It adopts Appendix I of AS/NZS 3500.1 as informative and sets a minimum pressure rating of PN 12 for plastic pipes in a cold water service under clause 2.5.3(c) of that standard (QLD B1D3). QLD B2P8 and QLD B2D2 are left blank, and Queensland does not apply Part B4 because fire-fighting water services are required under the Building Act 1975 (Qld).
