Points of discharge must have a working pressure of at least 50 kPa and a static pressure within the building of no more than 500 kPa, or pressures that suit the fixture or appliance where a different figure is needed; any failure or uncontrolled discharge from a cold water service must be avoided. Tasmania replaces B1P6 with the same figures and exempts existing low-pressure gravity-only services. Deemed-to-Satisfy is installation to AS/NZS 3500.1.
