Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r180-182: rr 180 to 182 Keep and verify the dive safety log; keep risk assessments and dive plans

The PCBU keeps a dive safety log recording for each dive the diver, buddy, supervisor, date and location, entry and exit times, maximum depth, any incident or discomfort, dive time or table data, surface interval and repetitive factor, and gas mix details for EANx or mixed gas; ensures each diver's return is verified (signed or by unique electronic identifier) by the diver and the supervisor as soon as practicable, and for vessel-based diving that headcounts are logged before diving and before leaving the site; keeps the log at least 1 year after the last entry; and keeps risk assessments until 28 days after the work and dive plans until completion (2 years after a connected notifiable incident), accessible to the divers and available for inspection.
