Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r168-170: rr 168 to 170 Divers hold a current certificate of medical fitness, conditions complied with, kept 1 year

A PCBU does not direct or allow a worker to do general diving work or diving training unless the worker holds a current certificate of medical fitness (issued by a registered medical practitioner trained in underwater medicine, stating name, dates, fitness under the criteria and any conditions, including age-related conditions for under-18s) and the work complies with its conditions; the PCBU keeps each diver's certificate for 1 year after the work.
