Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r176-179: rr 176 to 179 Diving risk assessment, supervisor appointment, dive plan and instruction

The PCBU manages general diving work risks under Part 3.1 with a competent person's written risk assessment, appoints one or more competent persons to supervise and perform the Division's functions, does not allow diving without a dive plan prepared by an appointed competent person (or one prepared earlier for a similar dive) stating the method, each person's tasks, equipment, breathing gases and procedures, dive and bottom times and decompression profiles, hazards and controls, and emergency procedures, ensures the dive follows the plan so far as reasonably practicable, and has the appointed person instruct workers on the plan before diving.
