Section 5: Plant registration – Australia Model Code of Practice: Managing the Risks of Plant in the Workplace

Australia Model Code of Practice: Managing the Risks of Plant in the Workplace 5.2b: 5.2 Renew item registration and notify changes within 14 days

Registration of an item expires exactly five years from the day granted, and the holder must apply to the regulator to renew before it expires. If information given at registration, or about the registration itself, changes, the holder has 14 days to advise the regulator in writing. Written notice is required without limitation if the item is altered to the extent that new risk controls are needed, a usually fixed item is relocated, or the holder no longer has management or control of the item.
