Section 5: Plant registration – Australia Model Code of Practice: Managing the Risks of Plant in the Workplace

Australia Model Code of Practice: Managing the Risks of Plant in the Workplace 5.1b: 5.1 Register altered plant designs (rr 244 and 282)

If a registered plant design is altered and the alteration may affect health and safety, the altered design must be registered because new risk controls may be needed. The application is made in the jurisdiction that registered the original design. If the original design was not registered before the specified date, the altered design must be registered as a new design. Changes to information must be notified as required (r 282).
