A risk assessment considers what could happen if someone is exposed to a hazard and how likely it is. It helps determine how severe the risk is, whether existing controls work, what action to take and how urgently. It can be as simple as a discussion with workers or can use specific analysis tools, and for complex situations expert advice may help. Where a hazard's risk and control are already well known, the assessment step is not needed and the controls can simply be implemented.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
