Australia Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (MA000027) 28-32: Clauses 28 to 32: NES leave, ceremonial leave for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, and confidential FDV leave

Personal/carer's, compassionate, parental, community service and family and domestic violence leave are provided by the NES. An employee legitimately required by Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander tradition to be absent for ceremonial purposes is entitled to up to 10 working days' unpaid leave a year with the employer's approval. Information about family and domestic violence must be kept confidential (s 106C) and payslips must not reveal the leave except as regulations 3.47 and 3.48 allow.
