Australia Franchising Code of Conduct (Franchising Regulations 2024) s48-49: ss 48 and 49 Respond to transfer requests in writing and do not unreasonably withhold consent

When asked to consent to a transfer, the franchisor must advise in writing whether consent is given, with reasons if not and any conditions if so, must not unreasonably withhold consent, and is taken to consent if it does not respond within the period the Code sets.
