Australia Franchising Code of Conduct (Franchising Regulations 2024) s36: s 36 Give written end of term notice at least 6 months before the term ends

The franchisor must tell the franchisee in writing whether it intends to extend the agreement, offer a new agreement, or neither: at least 6 months before the end of the term for agreements of 6 months or more, or at least 1 month before for shorter terms.
