A pay slip does not state that an amount is for paid family and domestic violence leave, that leave taken was FDV leave, or the FDV leave balance; FDV leave pay is reported as ordinary hours or another work payment such as an allowance, bonus or overtime, unless the employee asks for it to be reported as another kind of leave. A pay slip complying with this is not false or misleading (s 536(3A)).
