Each time an employee is called back to work overtime after they have left the job or the employer's premises (whether notified beforehand or afterwards), the employer pays at least 4 hours at the appropriate rate. The minimum does not apply if the employee customarily comes back for a specific job outside normal hours, or if the overtime runs on continuously, apart from a reasonable meal break, from the end or into the start of ordinary time.
