An authority or body that confers, renews, extends, revokes or withdraws a qualification or authorisation needed for a profession, trade or occupation must not discriminate on the ground of disability in refusing it, in its terms, or in revoking or varying it (s 19). Registered organisations under the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009 and their committees must not discriminate in admitting members or against members (s 20). An employment agency must not discriminate by refusing its services, in their terms, or in the manner of providing them (s 21); it is not responsible for an employer's compliance, except where s 122 makes it liable for causing, instructing, inducing, aiding or permitting an unlawful act.
