Australia Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) s994F: s 994F Keep DDO records, and distributors: report complaints, specified information and significant dealings to the issuer

An issuer keeps complete and accurate records of its TMD decisions (target market, review triggers, review periods, reporting requirements, appropriateness) and the reasons. Each distributor keeps records of complaints received, its reasonable steps, the information it must report and its reports, and reports in writing to the issuer within 10 business days after each reporting period the number of complaints (or none) and any other information the TMD specifies, and notifies the issuer within 10 business days of becoming aware of a significant dealing inconsistent with the TMD (offences and civil penalties).
