Australia Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) s941A-941D: ss 941A to 941D Give retail clients a Financial Services Guide before providing the service

A licensee, or an authorised representative with the licensee's authorisation to distribute it, gives a retail client a Financial Services Guide as soon as practicable after it becomes apparent a financial service will or is likely to be provided, and in any event before it is provided; in time-critical cases a statement with key FSG information is given first and the FSG within 5 days (civil penalty provisions ss 941A(3), 941B(4)).
