Facilities are the quiet precondition of a program. The teaching spaces, infrastructure and equipment are sufficient to deliver the program and reach its outcomes. Students and staff have safe and well-maintained physical facilities at every learning and teaching site, supporting both the outcomes and wellbeing, with particular regard to those with additional needs. Working with training sites and partners, the provider arranges or helps students reach the amenities that sustain learning and wellbeing while on clinical placement, including accommodation near placements that take students away from their usual residence. It uses technology effectively in learning, teaching, assessment and research, makes sure every student can use the clinical software, educational software and digital health tools they need to learn and to prepare for practice, and provides information services, library holdings and reference material, and the staff who support them, adequate for learning, teaching and research at all sites.
