ASEAN Guidelines for Occupational Safety and Health 6.1.1: A two-way OSH communication system to draft, update and disseminate OSH information across the organisation

What does 6.1.1 require?

The employer should establish a system for the two-way flow of OSH information up and down the hierarchy and across departments, through channels such as briefings for workers, contractors and visitors, notice boards with performance data, newsletters and posters, coaching and demonstrations, booklets, memos and the intranet. The communication tasks include drafting, disseminating, updating and checking OSH documents, with information flows defined and the people involved trained.
