Clause 4.5: Measurement and evaluation – AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (superseded edition)

AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (superseded edition) 4.5.3: Identify, maintain and dispose of OHS records so they are legible, traceable, retrievable, protected and retained for set periods

Procedures govern how OHS records are identified, kept and disposed of, including audit and review results. OHS records are legible, identifiable and traceable to the relevant activity, product or service; are stored and maintained so they are readily retrievable and protected from damage, deterioration or loss; and have established and recorded retention times. Records are kept, as fits the system and the organisation, to demonstrate conformance with the Standard.
