AS 3740:2021 Waterproofing of Domestic Wet Areas 4.6.2: 4.6.2 Membrane termination at showers with hobs

For hobs that are not metal angles, the membrane runs over the hob, continues down the outside face and at least 50 mm onto the floor. For metal angle hobs it stops no more than 5 mm below the angle's top edge, and sealant fills whatever gap remains between the angle and the screen. Figure 4.6.2 shows the extent for an internal shower tray.
