For membranes bonded to their substrate, fillets or bond breakers are used at every change of plane or material and at movement joints, of a type matched to the membrane's flexibility class under Table 4.10: Class I (elongation at break 10 % to 59 %) needs a minimum 100 mm bond breaker or tape; Class II (60 % to 299 %) 35 mm; Class III (300 % or more) 12 mm. Inside the internal angle of a waterstop no fillet or bond breaker is required.
