With a hob, the screen sits flush with the shower side of the hob, overhangs into the shower, or sits inside the hob. With a step-down, it sits flush with the step-down face, overhangs into the shower, or sits inside the step-down. Without a hob or step-down, it sits on or within the waterstop marking the shower boundary; if over the waterstop, the screen incorporates or sits on an inverted channel. Where a bath end or nib wall abuts the shower, the bottom edge of the screen is flush with the outer bath edge or overhangs into the shower. A self-draining sub-sill counts as part of the screen.
