A bath next to a Type 2 unenclosed shower is waterproofed as a shower-over-bath. For fitted baths recessed into a wall and for insert baths, surrounding walls are fully waterproofed up to 150 mm over the rim, and junctions and penetrations are fully waterproofed to at least 1 800 mm above the bath floor. The figures show a maximum 5 mm gap between bath edge and waterstop.
