Spa installations need: waterproofing under the spa up to a 150 mm vertical termination against the spa shell; an overflow to the outer floor through a conforming leak control flange no more than 30 mm below the waterproofing tanking; water kept out of any non-proprietary pump access panel; pump mountings sealed so they do not perforate the membrane; ventilation under the shell to manage condensation; and any drainage under the spa at membrane level with falls to the waste.
