Section 4 covers fire hydrant installations with fire mains, brigade booster assemblies and associated equipment; pumpsets, tanks and lay flat hose follow Sections 3, 5 and 8, and combined hydrant and sprinkler systems are serviced to Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5. Hydrant systems are routinely serviced and surveyed to the schedules, with baseline data, records (including tags and labels for hydrant valves) and reports per Clauses 1.8, 1.16 and 1.17. Frequencies: monthly for pump-related items only, six-monthly, yearly and five-yearly.
