Walkway and ramp landings are at least 1200 mm long with no change of direction, at least 1500 mm with a turn up to 90 degrees (inside corner truncated 500 mm each way), and to the 180 degree figure for a return. Step ramp landings are at least 1200 mm long, 1500 mm where direction changes. Kerb ramp landings are at least 1200 mm long, 1500 mm by 2000 mm at a T junction and 1500 mm by 1500 mm for a single change of direction. Landings at doorways also meet the doorway circulation space requirements.
