Article 29 Working Party Opinion 2/2017 on Data Processing at Work (WP249) 5.3(g): 5.3(g) Private spaces in employer-provided online applications

Where employees must use employer-provided online or cloud applications such as calendars and document editors, they should be able to mark certain spaces as private, which the employer and colleagues may not open except in exceptional circumstances (a private calendar entry, for instance); section 6.5 recommends considering private mail or document folders the employer cannot access at all.
