Organizations committed to reducing workplace threats shall address employees who commit or threaten violence against their partners, at the same workplace or elsewhere. Within the program: the policy should state plainly that staff may not use working hours or company equipment to harass, threaten or hurt a partner, employee or not; on learning of a possible breach by an employee who is, or may be, abusive, the organization should run its incident protocols to look into it, also checking for concerning behavior toward other members of the organization, and apply suitable discipline and remedies; and once misconduct is confirmed, it may refer the employee through the EAP to an accredited, standardized batterer intervention program, as part of and not instead of wider discipline. Where concerning conduct is reported that happened outside the organization, it should, within legal limits, alert management and assess whether the conduct could affect worksite safety.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
