Every registered provider must deliver funded aged care services in accordance with the prescribed requirements, maintain and manage any residential care homes as prescribed, and deliver each service as described in the service list and, for residential care, in an approved residential care home. The Rules require: reasonable steps to prevent damage to an individual's property (148-15); for meal delivery and centre-based or cottage respite, nutritious and appetising meals, an at least annual dietitian assessment and a quality assurance framework using satisfaction and dietitian input (148-20); safe equipment that meets the individual's needs (148-25); available personal protective equipment with support to use it, an infection prevention and control system and hygienic worker practice (148-30); the full residential care service types (148-33); transition care management under the TCP (148-35); a multidisciplinary restorative package with a qualified restorative care partner on the restorative care pathway (148-40); and care management at least monthly for ongoing home support and the end-of-life pathway (148-45).
