Western Australia Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022 307-315A: Principal contractor for a construction project: signage, WHS management plan, coordination and record keeping

What does 307-315A require?

A construction project's principal contractor must install signs showing its name, contact details and the site office, must write a WHS management plan before work starts (responsibilities, consultation and coordination arrangements, incident management, site rules, and how safe work method statements will be collected, assessed, monitored and reviewed), inform workers of the plan and its revisions, keep it current and available, manage the risks of the listed site hazards and the general site duties, obtain safe work method statements before high risk construction work, and keep the plan and statements for the required period after the project. Local governments must notify the regulator of construction work as regulation 315A provides.
