Precondition (mandatory for certification). Occupiable spaces meet indoor air thresholds set with public health bodies: particulates (PM2.5 at or below 15 ug/m3 and PM10 at or below 50 ug/m3, with relaxed or outdoor-relative options for regions whose outdoor PM2.5 averages 35 ug/m3 or more that cap the certification level at Gold or Silver, and separate limits for commercial kitchens and industrial space); organic gases (benzene 10, formaldehyde 50 and toluene 300 ug/m3 by laboratory test, or total VOC at or below 500 ug/m3 by continuous monitoring); carbon monoxide (9 ppm) and ozone (51 ppb); radon at or below 4 pCi/L on the lowest occupied floor unless below-grade spaces are mechanically ventilated or occupied spaces are above grade as defined; and annual monitoring of PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, carbon monoxide and ozone with results reported through the WELL platform. Parts: (a) Meet Thresholds for Particulate Matter; (b) Meet Thresholds for Organic Gases; (c) Meet Thresholds for Inorganic Gases; (d) Meet Thresholds for Radon; (e) Measure Air Parameters.
