For each time limit set by the content, the user can turn it off or adjust it (to at least ten times the default) before meeting it, or is warned and given at least 20 seconds to extend it with a simple action at least ten times; exceptions cover real-time events such as auctions, limits that are essential, and limits longer than 20 hours.
