Where an employer, just before 1 July 2024, held an engineered stone licence and employed someone who worked with manufactured composite stone containing resins and 40% or more crystalline silica, the employer had to give that employee, by 1 October 2024, a written statement giving the span of time, ending 1 July 2024, over which that employee had handled the material, advising the employee to undergo periodic health assessments, and describing the types of relevant tests. Maximum penalty: 60 units (individual), 300 units (company).
