An employer or self-employed person required by r 319S to use a dust control system must make sure it is designed and installed to remove the risk of workers breathing crystalline silica dust as far as reasonably practicable, and, where removing the risk is not reasonably practicable, to lower it as far as reasonably practicable. Act compliance is through ss 21, 23 and 24.
