A recipient that houses students must provide comparable, convenient and accessible housing to students with disabilities at the same cost and in sufficient quantity and variety, and must ensure housing it assists others to provide is offered without discrimination. Financial assistance may not be less, limited or otherwise discriminatory on the basis of disability (restricted scholarships only where the overall effect is not discriminatory), outside employment opportunities the recipient assists must be free of discrimination, and the recipient's own employment of students must comply with the employment subpart. Physical education and athletics (intercollegiate, club and intramural) must offer qualified students with disabilities equal opportunity, with separate activities only where consistent with integration and no one is denied the chance to compete for teams; counseling and placement services must not steer students with disabilities toward more restrictive careers (factual licensing information may be given); and significant assistance to fraternities, sororities or similar bodies requires assurance that their membership practices do not discriminate.
