Under a full warranty the warrantor requires nothing of the consumer but notice of the defect as a condition of obtaining a remedy, unless it can show that a further duty is reasonable (returning a registration card is not). It may require that a product returned for refund or replacement be free of liens and encumbrances. Where the product must be installed by the warrantor's representatives, the full warranty duty covers installation.
