UNECE WP.29 R156 7.1.5.2: Updates needing skilled or complex action proceed only with a skilled person present or in control

What does 7.1.5.2 require?

The manufacturer demonstrates the processes ensuring that when an over-the-air update needs a specific skilled or complex action to complete (for example recalibrating a sensor after programming) it can only proceed when a person skilled to do it is present or in control of the process. The Interpretation Document: owners are not required to do anything technical or complex; such updates run only with a trained person present or remotely in control (ISO 24089 9.3.1.12, 9.3.2.13).
