UNECE WP.29 R156 7.1.4: No updates to registered 01 series vehicles unless every assessed approval has an RXSWIN

What does 7.1.4 require?

New in the 01 series: the manufacturer does not execute software updates to vehicles approved to the 01 series already registered in the market unless an RXSWIN has been assigned to every Regulation No. X type approval assessed in the 7.1.1.9 process. The Interpretation Document: updates are performed only where all approvals affected by the update, whether or not an extension is needed, carry an RXSWIN, so authorities can tell from its presence or absence whether a system may be updated after registration.
