The Interpretation Document: users are able to learn of changes to the vehicle they are responsible for, including any action they must take for download and installation, packages of updates may be covered together, the means need not be on the vehicle but must be accessible, and the requirement does not cover consent; the manufacturer shows the communication methods and their effectiveness (ISO 24089 6.3.3.1, 9.3.2.10).
