UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) Reg.16: Regulation 16: Calling line identity and location for 999 and 112 emergency calls

To support responses to emergency calls to 999 or 112, such calls are excluded from the regulation 10 withholding facilities, no one may prevent presentation of the calling line identity on the connected line, and the regulation 14(2) restriction on processing location data is disregarded, so providers must not let withholding or the location restriction stop the calling line identity and location reaching the emergency response.
