What does 4-5 require?

The requirement of registration applies on a transfer of a qualifying (unregistered) freehold or leasehold estate for consideration, by gift, under a court order, by assent or on partition; on the grant of a lease for more than seven years out of a qualifying estate, or of a reversionary lease taking effect more than three months ahead; on the creation of a first legal mortgage protected by deposit of title deeds; and on the other events section 4 lists (including grants and transfers out of demesne land under section 80). The Secretary of State may extend the triggers by order (section 5).
