UK Bribery Act 2010 s14: Senior officers: no consent or connivance

What does s14 require?

Senior officers (directors, managers, secretaries and similar officers, or partners in a Scottish partnership) do not consent to or connive in bribery offences under sections 1, 2 or 6 committed by the body, since they are then personally guilty as well (subject to the close-connection rule for offences abroad); and since 29 June 2026 a senior manager's offence within the scope of their authority is also the organisation's offence under section 250 of the Crime and Policing Act 2026 (section 14).
