The HACCP plan is verified so the business is confident that food safety is assured and product specifications are met. Verification includes routine record reviews, responsible and proportionate laboratory testing of food (microbiological, and chemical where relevant), and a periodic re-examination of each HACCP plan, repeated whenever a significant change (new process, ingredient, product or equipment) could alter the hazards or controls; a periodic review is also due where the hazard analysis found no CCPs. Testing must give reasonable confidence that processes deliver safe food, must verify the use-by or best-before dates the business sets, and results are analysed and understood by management with any breach of a critical limit investigated; verification records and laboratory reports are retained, and control measure implementation is verified often enough to show the plan is working.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
